About the 2025/26 call

Google DeepMind and Makerere University renewed their collaboration to fund two scholarships in machine learning for the 2025/26 academic year. The call built on awards made in the 2021/22, 2022/23 and 2024/25 academic years.

The Makerere scholarships supported citizens of Uganda joining the MSc in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science track.
